Been there for dinner with kidsTwo young staffs- pleasant, very cooperative.Food-lamb and chicken nilgiri biriyani taste good but small quantity for the price .no pickle or raita.hardly find a coriander leave in biriyaniOrdered nan for kids- rock hard overpriced tiny quantity . When spoken to staffs replaced with better one ( wonder why can’t they served this at first )Minus- no parking lot .Worst - extra extra time delay to prepare the food . Even there was no customers apart from us .

The reason for rating is based on my experience today. Ordered chukka biryani nd another one. Both were served within a few mins. Started eating and understood rice felt cold. Chicken masala was cold. Biryani, when served cold, is the worst. The only thing that felt warm was the paper bowl in which it was served.Informed waiter, and she went inside to report or ask this and no update for almost 5 mins. Knocked the kitchen door, another girl came and informed the same, and she also went in and again waited for 5 mins no update. By then, i had lost my appetite for biryani and decided to leave. Rang the bell to pay and told her I was not paying for the cold biryani." She then told me they were preparing a new one hot

Amazing place to visit for south Indian food,. We have tried chicken chukka biryani and paratha with chettinad curry. Food was really nice, friendly & fantastic service. Awesome dinner experience.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants so far! I have had 4 different curry with rice. All of them with deep flavours! Very nice! I liked them very much. Highly recommend this restaurant to people who are looking for south Indian cuisine!

Had a wonderful dining experience today, had ordered a couple of times before via Uber eats, wanted to dine in the restaurant today..Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a proper South Indian cuisine..Chicken Chukka Biryani and Lamb Perattal makes me feel nostalgic, tastes exactly as authentic as we find in the Tamil heart lands. Tried the Chicken Pallipalayam too and it was great.. It is not simple to recreate these traditional taste and complex flavours but Kolapasi does it flawlessly and consistently and never disappoints...Staff members were very courteous.The ambience was clean & hygienic. Spacious and airy..Very happy to finally find a proper South Indian cuisine restaurant.A lot of additional take away options especially for families of 3-4. Kindly check with the restaurant for party orders...The restaurant serves in paper plates and wooden spoon / fork to keep it hygienic.. probably something which might have started during covid..You can find the parking location in Google maps( Kolapasi Parking" ..less than a minute walk away)...The restaurant is located on a prime spot along a main street..."

I have had the palipayam chicken briyani with raita. The spice was so intense and flavourful. However the portion of the chicken served with the biryani was too small. But I enjoyed the food very much despite the lack of meat.

Food was great. But the only thing was we didn't like the disposable cutlery for dining in, feels like a waste.ETA I can't tell if the response is sarcasm, but no matter whether it's carbon free etc or not, it is still more wasteful to use single-use items than to use reusable cutlery.

We dined in tonight. So clean and welcoming. We had fantastic customer service, both staff were delightful. We had 2 delicious south Indian dishes full of flavour. We highly recommend you try this gem and we will definitely return for the best Indian in this area.
