South Indian restaurant

My friend and I came on a Saturday night, and waited an hour until our dosa arrived and that was after asking for it multiple times. When the waitress asked us if we would like our entree and mains separately, this time disparity was not what we had in mind. After our entree, we advised the waitress that we were ready for our mains. Just as she was about to walk away, I asked her if she would like to collect our empty dishes before she left. The waitresses are lacking in common sense and so this is not the place to go for brilliant service or food. The dosa itself was cold, flimsy and tasted plain. The filling, sambhar and chutneys were very flavoursome. This just isn’t a place I’d go back to even if there was no other dosas in Perth.

We checked out The Chatter Boxx last night and it was awesome! So yummy and the service was 10/10. Some of the best Indian food we’ve had in a long time. The goat was melt-in-your-mouth tender and full of flavour, also had butter chicken and naan which were both excellent. Our waiter (owner??) Vick also really made the night; lots of laughs and he took the time to talk us through his favourite dishes and helped us to order when we couldn’t make a decision.Best to book a table as they were pretty busy. Have absolutely earned their great ratings.

Great biriyani had it for my birthday great customer service food was delivered on time. Truly the biriyani is must have for anyone looking to try authentic south indian cuisine

love the taste of their food - especially their Roti Canai. they have quite a few different types" for their roti canai - not much

First time visited the place and asked for a take away. The best Kerala style food after a years. After relocated from Dubai (12 years of living) I felt the same flavours and taste too... Strongly recommend this place. Congrats to the whole team and the person who answered my call, was very very polite and humble as I took few minutes due to some clarifications and questions I asked her. She Just said Please take your time.. Really had few bad experience with other places.. Thanks so so much one and all @ Curry Leaves..

Been there for dinner with kidsTwo young staffs- pleasant, very cooperative.Food-lamb and chicken nilgiri biriyani taste good but small quantity for the price .no pickle or raita.hardly find a coriander leave in biriyaniOrdered nan for kids- rock hard overpriced tiny quantity . When spoken to staffs replaced with better one ( wonder why can’t they served this at first )Minus- no parking lot .Worst - extra extra time delay to prepare the food . Even there was no customers apart from us .

A very authentic dining experience. Felt very much like I was in India. Took a while to be served, even longer to get water, and it was a very hot night. Difficult to order due to authentic nature of the restaurant. Food was nice, but I've had taster elsewhere. I would definitely still go again. Loved sitting outside under the trees and lights.

We were there Friday, 4 Nov 22 for dinner. Lovely ambience, nice and cosy, but food was ordinary. We ordered dosas - heaps of them on menu. While the Bhaji was great, the Dosa taste was ordinary n it was not crispy. Being from south india, was nothing like a Dosa. We ordered tandoori chicken n it came on a sizzler plate!!??? It was definitely not cooked in a tandoor n tasted nothing like tandoori chicken. The chaat was good. Overall disappointed.

The reason for rating is based on my experience today. Ordered chukka biryani nd another one. Both were served within a few mins. Started eating and understood rice felt cold. Chicken masala was cold. Biryani, when served cold, is the worst. The only thing that felt warm was the paper bowl in which it was served.Informed waiter, and she went inside to report or ask this and no update for almost 5 mins. Knocked the kitchen door, another girl came and informed the same, and she also went in and again waited for 5 mins no update. By then, i had lost my appetite for biryani and decided to leave. Rang the bell to pay and told her I was not paying for the cold biryani." She then told me they were preparing a new one hot

We had a saag paneer and a butter chicken (the reviews were good on the butter chicken so had to try). Both were really fresh and tasty dishes. The staff were also super welcoming and attentive. We had takeaway so can’t vouch for the dine in experience but the decor is nice and it was a comfortable place to wait for our food. It was a week night so fairly quiet but hopefully a bit busier dine in on the weekend as it’s a big place. Would be good for a big group dinner.
